Junior Ranger Handbook Yosemite National Park

This is an activity guide for children ages 7 to 13 years designed to be completed cooperatively with parents or other adults in the park. Upon completion of a number of different activities in five different areas, young people become junior rangers and may pick up a free junior ranger patch at any park visitor center. Activities in the handbook include attending a park program, discovering the park, learning about Yosemite rocks, a Yosemite animal word search, animal habitat matching, tree bingo, completing stories of early settlers, and many more. It's a great way for kids to learn about Yosemite, and a perfect guide to discovering the park for the whole family.
