Snowshoes and Sequoias : Mariposa Grove in Winter, February 11

See giant sequoias in a way that few visitors have on this fun and challenging day of snowshoeing into the Mariposa Grove.

Ranger/author/artist Shirley Spencer will enhance this trip with her creativity and extensive knowledge – come join the fun! Snowshoes will be provided. This excursion is recommended for adults and mature teens. Meets at the Hwy 41/South Entrance. Leave the crowds behind to trek into an ancient world.
Hiking: somewhat challenging, depending on snow conditions, on snowshoes, 7-8 miles, from 5,100’ up to 6,000’ and back.
