Paint Yosemite: Tuolumne Meadows en Plein Air August 6-9, 2015
Whether this is your first time picking up a paintbrush, or you have been painting your whole life, join us in Tuolumne Meadows to experience nature's best open-air studio with a renowned artist to guide your journey. Yosemite's meadows, rugged mountain peaks, glacially carved domes and winding river offer endless possibilities for artistic inspiration.
Through demonstrations, critiques and discussions, you will learn the "language of painting," including composition, color, edges and brushwork. Professional artist Chuck Waldman will share his deep knowledge of painting and his passion for Yosemite's landscape. You'll go to the best vantage points to paint the park like you've never seen it before. Tuolumne Meadows offers a spectacular setting for you to slow down and connect with nature. This workshop will begin on Thursday evening in Tuolumne Meadows. The first full day will start on Friday morning in Tuolumne Meadows and will run through Sunday afternoon.
